Google News Alerts

This is new to me. Google has a "News Alert" service that enables one to track any topic/industry/company at any specified frquency (once a day, as news breaks, etc.). Type in your favorite road and learn of the washout tonight at Podunk on the AB&C as reported by WXYZ-TV. It boosts your email volume a bit, but is a ready source for current events.

I use it for info I might use on my Adirondack websites. It is a handy tool.
