Original Norfolk Southern heritage #8114 ES44AC has been painted at NS's DeButts shop in Chattanooga. #8114 is the last heritage GE to be painted.

I like this one a lot, I really like it that NS is painting their heritage units in the roughly the last scheme the predecessor lines used (70's rule!) , rather than what UP did, many of which would look better on a kid's bed.
Now that is one nice lookin engine! best so far, but i cant wait for the Lackawanna unit. Hope they assign it to Allentown!
The Wabash Bluebird colors looked great on their cab units. But I'm not looking forward to seeing it on those square locomotives. Perhaps they'll use the solid blue with the flag on the nose.

The Wabash blue and gray looked pretty good on GP7/9's and Train Masters. I think that it will look just fine on an SD70ACe.
