Hooray for Kansas City

Kansas City has been praised by STB's chairman, Roger Nober, as being a very fluid railhub, as opposed to other places like Houston and LA. The article can be read at http://www.kansascity.com/mld/kansascity/business/
It is free to sign up.

All the major railroads were asked to submit a plan on how they would handle the bulge of business in the fall. Their answers can be found on www.stb.dot.gov. Click on the article on the left side.

Take care,

Russell

The article doesn't have anything to do with Union Station. Union Station has a committee assigned to come up with a money making plan soon.

I just wanted to toot our own horn (pun intended), and to give our local news run on it.
