Me being an ex Brooklynite, I venture up there quite a bit (my mother still lives there). My father (God Bless him [angel]) used to work for them after he left New York Central Railroad and I was one of the first visitors to the New York City's Transit Museum in Brooklyn, when it first opened in 1976. If any of you railroaders out there are also transit/traction buffs, I urge you to visit New York's subway system[:D]! Get an 'all day' metro fare card for $7 and travel all day and all night long (hell I did when I was little). Much respect to all current and retired railroaders in the US and the world.

It is steel on steel. Right? Then it is included.

Gather you are an Amtrak supporter. Employee also? I use Amtrak whenever I can, and want it to live on. Keep on with your voice.

....I would think Traction is a parallel interest of railroad fans on here and would find plenty of response. It is an interest to me.
