E J & E Caboose fans

They're finally taking down the old telephone poles along the CSX main here along the Gulf Coast in Ocean Springs, MS, and weeks after they started loading the ex-NYC gondolas with the lumber, an old orange caboose showed up on the same siding at the old L&N depot and has stayed for awhile. Off-center cupola and painted out markings identify this cab as EJ&E #512, re-lettered for PREX. I'd like to learn about the history of this caboose and would be glad to hear from anyone interested in seeing what this caboose is doing lately.
