I think the Trains dot com forums use a cookie to tell when you are logged-on and if your anti-malware is being a bit agressive, it might be deleteing cookies every few minutes and thus Trains dot com cannot detect that you are logged-on.  You might check to see if there is (usually is) a way to tell your anti-malware to leave the Trains dot com cookies alone.

Is anyone haveing trouble getting on the forms sometimes I have to try 2 or 3 times then everytime I go to a different post it happens again. It only happens on the trains.com forums is this a problem with the forums or is it a problem with my computer. Thanks for your help

Several months back, Everyone seemed to be having problems with th Forum access. It seemed to narrow down to problems with server capacity. I believe that was what the concensus seemed to be. The Information Folks seemed to get on it when the carping and complaining got to be pretty annoying(?).

In recent times I have not seen any postings of problems on the Forums, here.  In recent times it has been pretty consistantly fluid. Even when  the head count gets over the 50/60on-line count.

It might be helpful relation  for you to note the time, and the on-line count (shown to the right side screen as" Who is online.  E-mail the Kalmbach Information Services and let them get into it. It could be a problem with your local service provider, or something within your own set up(?).

Since you're having trouble with the Trains forums, not the Model Railroader forums, I'll move this message over there for you.
