About a week or so ago i saw a westbound emtpy coal train thru Elmhurst. UP power and CSX hoppers. Now it makes sence.

Low-sulfur western coal going to a destination on the NS (somewhere along Lake Erie, IIRC). NS supplies the cars, just like a utility would.

I was looking at the webcam and a UP train went through with all NS "Top Gon" hoppers. What are they doing on the UP instead of NS?
