Class One And Small Railroad
Posted by BNSF@NARS on Friday, May 6, 2011 10:26 PM

Each time I see some small railroad handle business some business seemed to become decreased and some business become closed and carload rate had decreased.

Each time this could had occured some small railroad would become closed and the class one railroad would continue customer service once more on the former small railroad branch line and business seemed to become increased more and more.

Such as on the former central illinois railroad branch line around eastern illinois this railroad had become closed because business had decreased and the second the class one would handle business on the same branch line business increased much from one customer central illinois railroad would handle less than five cars and since some class one started to handle business on the line this one customer would handle more than some seventeen carload rate.

And on the former EJE Illinois River Subdivision each time the train would come to the branch line the train had around some seventeen cars and since canadian national railroad started to handle the EJE Illinois River Subdivision business had increased more and more from some seventeen cars to more than five dozen cars.

And all this time I had an idea that some small railroad would fine some business less than what some class one railroad would fine some business to handle some cars and if this is true how come the second some class one railroad had started business business increased but this same line no more than one month back had made some railroad closed.

It it that some class one would fine some business less than some small railroad or no because this I had seen more and more where some small railroad branch line with some business would see decreased business and become closed than some enormous railroad would come to the rescue and increase business what does the class one do to increase business?

thanks.
