CNW 6000 Crazy thing about Google Earth Street View - in Neenah, WI they have a NS powered train on CN tracks. Back to the topic, nice shot. The Keddie Wye is one of the places on my "gotta go there" list.

On Google Earth Street View east of Quincy CA on CAL-70, when you get to the Williams Loop, there is a westbound stacker on the loop when they go by. Also, a lot of snow on the ground.
I remember once with my parents, riding a car and scaling a UP military train along the "new line" in Lake Forest on 41.
It certainly reminds of older, black & white images. The locomotive was not built by Lima. The tanks are not "Shermans." Helping to preserve, protect and defend remains the same.
Looks like the are moving a Strker Brygade. IIRC from a few buddies one is Scheduled to go to Aghanistan this year.
ChuckCobleigh Oddly enough, Google Earth Street View has been through there on the highway and has some pretty good views of the wye, unfortunately unoccupied. That was a bit of a surprise.

Quinten, Thanks for the kind words about the photo.
Diningcar, you are correct. This train is coming off the South (RR West) end of BNSF's Gateway Subdivision. It is headed towards Stockton, and eventually Southern California.
