Terrible train accident in Turkey!
Posted by Kozzie on Thursday, July 22, 2004 7:38 PM

Just heard on the news earlier today that Turkey's new express train de-railed between Istanbul and Ankara. [:(]

Not many details as yet. Apparently the last carriage de-railed, then several more, and the death toll has risen over 100. Those poor people! [:(]

Has anyone "up over" heard any more about how it happened?

I feel sorry for the families,That IS very sad.
I don't think I've heard anything on our news about it,just yet.
I'll try to check CNN and see if I can find out anything.

Dave, thanks for the website address. At least the death toll has fallen, instead of risen.

I agree Walt, I hope the families get plenty of support...

I guess time will tell what caused it....
