An Amazing shot in this 21st Century!
Thanks for sharing it with us.
Cumberland Maryland in the snow used to be an amazing place US Hwy 40 ran more or less East and West through town. It seemed the lowest point was right by the railroads and station area. It was a downhill ride from several miles east of town and a seemingly steep uphill to the Keysers Ridge west of town. With a deep snow fallen and still falling ( thigh deep when I stopped east on Hwy 40) til the small truck stop at Keysers Ridge. It was a daunting, high pucker factor ride. An environment to a young, inexperienced driver from the Mississippi Delta.
Thanks, Tom for bringing back those memories.
Last week the WMSR ran 3 charters out of Cumberland,Md on the first day 734 arrived Helper style into the station...http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.php?id=353707Enjoy, Tom
