Iraq Railroad
Posted by Anonymous on Monday, July 12, 2004 4:12 PM
Hi all,
Between myself and my twin brother we have witnessed the rebirth of the railroad since last year, When I was there the IRR wasn't really running and now as my brother has found out it is running pretty well. He is stationed next to TAJI and has a pretty good view of the tracks.
From his pictures that I have it(IRR) hauls everything from gravel for ballast to intermodel. I was just reading the article again that was done in the July 04 Trains by Rick Degman. And noticed some changes he had reported that IRR 3301 was the only operational engine in that class and now 3302 is up. My twin goes on patrol regularly alone the line and keeps me updated as much as possible. If anyone wants pics reply to this with your email and I will send them. Allso is there a way to post these pics on this site? Thanks Darin
