Jim,
That's not a much to go on.

It might be easier to just find a new friend[:D]. Dave

Dave, will YOU be my friend.? [;)] [:D] [;)] lol lmao

Now that the funny stuff is over, how is it going?

Are you well and back to work now?

Jim,
Thanks for asking. I'm back at work but not completely healed. I still get a
little sore by the end of the day. But it's getting better everyday.

And sure I'll be your friend[8D]. ANYONE who likes trains and modeling is
alright in my book. Good luck in finding your long lost friend. Dave

Jim, if he's from Indiana, have you tried Indiana records on line? And if you by chance
know what high school, or college he went to, try Classmates.com; you MIGHT find
something there.

Try sending a letter to his old address. The USPS may be slow, but I'll be darned if they wouldn't attempt to deliver an 80-year old letter they found to someone.

I did try that. It came back as "Undeliverable". They will only forward a letter for a certain amount of time then not any more. [:(]

And add the fact that I moved too makes it even harder. [:(] Neither one of us has the other one's new address. [V]

Looking for a friend who . . .
Posted by Anonymous on Saturday, July 10, 2004 1:25 AM
I have lost contact with a friend of mine. We met when I was a car host on the last Cotton Belt 819 steam excursion, and we became friends. We kept in contact over the years and he would stop by on his way to Texas to visit friends there. His name is Jim (really good name, huh [:D] ) and he was from Indiana. He was a Conrail fan and even became a Conrail engineer. Last I heard from him was when he lived in Kankakee, Illinois. I moved about 6 years ago and he doesn't have my new address. He has also moved and I have not been able to get in touch with him. The telephone number for his mother has changed also. I think he now works for NS, but I am not 100 % sure about that.

Anyway, I hope that maybe he sees this or a friend of his may see it and tell him. I can give more info but don't want to give too much.

I would love to hear from him as it has been at least 6 years since I have heard from him.

Any and all help would be appreciated.

THANKS
