Keep in mind chances are you aren't going to get a complete history anywhere.

In regards to injuries, I was reading that only a fraction that occur actually ever get recorded.

I suppose in regards to insurance premiums, the more that gets reported, the higher they get.

Try the FRA website at www.fra.dot.gov. NTSB may also have some of them, but they don't handle all accidents.

Where can I find UP's accident records
Posted by philnrunt on Monday, July 5, 2004 2:26 PM
Just reading about two more accidents on UP (BNSF-UP collision, 3 dead and UP derailment, 1 damaged 70ACe), where do I go to find their recent (last 5 years) records of derailments and accidents? Anyone have an idea?
