So far it looks like I will be handsomly rewarded, my plants have responded to my TLC and are twice the size of my neighbors.

Them are either really little neighbors or really big tomato plants...[:p]

woot woot!

First time in 28 years I've grown tomatoes, but being newly reunited with Indiana soil, thought "why not give it a try?" (just something about Ohio and Indiana soil, growing the best 'maters)

So far it looks like I will be handsomly rewarded, my plants have responded to my TLC and are twice the size of my neighbors.

*licking sweat off brow in anticipation* personally I prefer an open face bacon and tomato sandwich on sourdough toast, smothered in a welsh Rarebit cheese sauce

Can hardly wait[:)]

....One would think when a crew leaves a loco to go off shift, etc....standard procedure would be to close up the cab windows, etc...Since we all know there is no one standing by to take care of such routines. Just use a bit of care and responsbility. With windows open as stated above and engine '"in" the train with lots of turbulance I would imagine planty of water found it's way inside.

long live the rock!!!!

Chances are all the electrics would be okay.
I bet the last crew that used that loco had the windows open, and nobody bothered to check to see if they were shut when the train took off.

Possibly the engineer had the air-conditioning blower on full speed and the air current prevented rain from entering the cab. Or the aerodynamics of the locomotive created a wind effect that kept rain from entering the window. Or both together. Under certain condiitons these answers are applicable to your personal automobile.
