In the movie "Garfield",the bad guys catch a train at LA Union Station. The announcement is made that their train will leave from platform 12.Or maybe the director is British? Also,Garfield operates the CTC board for a short while.[:0]
They are supposed to be somewhwre in the Northeast Corridor,Maybe Wash. DC? the train wil arive in NYC in 2 hours.Union Station is labeled "Train Station".

....C W: Can't tell you the exact date of his birthday but seems the celebration is ongoing now....The "PAWS" organization and location is just outside Muncie a few miles north east near Rt. 67. Jim Davis' [the creator], plane has an imprint of a cat's paw on the tail. "Paws" is the name for the organization.

It is actually Garfield's birthday today, June 19. I think it started in 1978, so that would make him..um..26. Kinda old for a cat as fat as he is.

To bad that "PAWS is a registered trademark.

I had wanted to start a business venture a few years ago,
and was thinking of using that for name of company. But come to
find out it WAS already taken![:(]

"PAWS" also stands for Paula and Walt!

I felt like reviving this topic too, I saw this movie, when Garfield is at the CTC board, ever notice when he stops all the trains, they are all B32-8WH and all have low level cars behind them, there are like 20 trains, all identical!!! Also, how in the hell did they get 2 animals on the train, IT'S AGAINST POLICY PEOPLE!!! SERVICE ANIMALS ONLY!!! And, the "bad guy" knocks over all the baggage in the baggage car and it falls off the rack and INTO THE AISLE!!!! And why weren't the straps on the luggage to prevent that? Good thing I'm not a movie critic, F, F, F, F, F!!!! That's the grade for the movie in my book.

[:-^]UPTRAIN, I have never known a cat that didn't think that it was placed in the world to entertain you, much less pay any attention to rules or regs. But rather you were on the earth to entertain the cat and do as it requires (even down to hairballs). By the way, one must remember to show pity on hollywood for they just don't know (or get it) [:D]. Have a great week - Piouslion

Besides not correctly representing the railroads.... Holywood isn't even corectly representing Garfield. Garfield sleeps and eats all day nothing more, and is totally lazy. He would not be up and running around. Man.. has Holywood gotten that bad?

TG3 LOOK ! LISTEN ! LIVE ! Remember the 3.
