I know these are not "Sharks" but when the Baldwin plant in Eddystone, Pa built locomotives they built them to last. Many other baldwins are still not only in existence but still working everyday. The SMS operation in Southern NJ, only about 20 miles from where they were built, continues to operate quite a number and variety of Baldwin units. If there is a "Shark" out there that is still operational and available I would not be surprised if they bought it and put it back into operation as they have with other baldwin units.

TomDiehl Two of the RF-16 models, originally made for the NYC, went to D&H, then to Monongahela. Currently stored in Michigan out of sight, but at least still in existance.

OK! Before I get verbally assaulted! This is a strange website, but it does have some nice photos of some Baldwin Sharknoses, and I think as well the two D&H 'Sharks" mentioned in as previous post, that are stored in Michigan.
