The only dome i remember that was resurrected from a junk yard was one of the original GM/Pullman Train of Tomorrow cars rescued from a junk yard in Pocatello Idaho and is now being restored in Ogden Utah. It was originally a lounge Observation with rounded end and the owner UP rebuilt it for mid train operation. Original name of car was MOON GLOW and later was assigned the number 9015 by UP. The car sat in the scrap yard for a number of yeras before it was saved.
