On 11/17, a buddy and I were at Parsons, KA. From the street we could see a number of BN C30-7s next to the old Katy shop building. The question I have is, Who owns them and what are they to be used for? It also looks as though there may be some exConrail (they were in blue paint, couldn't see any lettering) C30-7s also.

This may or may not be of interest to you:
You may have seen units destined for ( or being rebuilt for ) a leasing company. i know that several ex-conrail C30s were sold to a leasing company. I'm not sure wich company or how many units, i will try to find out. It is possible that BNSF did the same with some of their units.
