261 Excursion July 2-2004

Finally got my tickets for the July 2 excursion from St Paul to Lacrosse WI and return. Should be a great trip along the bluffs of the Mississippi. My lady friend has never been on a train. I logged thousands of miles both steam and diesel as a world war 2 tot. Including a magnificent trip from Norfolk VA to Seattle WA when I was 6. Still remember going through the snow sheds out west and seeing the train curving around the mountain from our coach seats.

Anyone else from Mpls St Paul going on this trip?

Where did you get tickets? And are there any left?

I "think" there might be a few coach seats left.
