Most importantly the inclimmate weather makes you appreciate the nice days, so don't waste those!!!! And if you really want those pictures bad enough, you'll go out and get them no matter what's in your way. I've seen quite a few nice shots in bad weather conditions, it could be worth your while to get a little wet.[swg]
I agree. I train watch year around - unless Millie can't get through the snow. I just dress funny!

I can't take railfanning if the temp is above 90. Although one time when the 3985 went through Omaha and surrounding areas, we went to see it in 100 degree heat. Fortunately, most of the severe weather we are having has occurred at night, so our daytime watching is fine.

Thats about truth. Every time I go railfanning the weekends It's eather too hot or too cold or too windy and what kills me the most is the high dew points with the high heat,I can't take neather. My best time to railfan,is when temp's range from 55 to 80 w/low dew points&light winds.AND LOTS OF SUN.So bjk041089 I do agree with you there.BNSFfan.[#ditto]!

bad train-spotting weather

[:(!] Are a lot of you people that live near Lake Michigan mad about the very bad weather thats happening in some cities? Because I live in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and for the past month it has just been raining constantly. I want to do my train-spotting in warm sunny weather, but this rain is going non-stop and out-of-control! Its just madness.[:(!]
