Don't trust door to door salesman
Posted by bnsfkline on Tuesday, May 25, 2004 12:37 PM
I recently subscribed to Rail magazine, a British rail news periodical. That was my biggest mistake, it was from a door to door salesman. A month later, I started getting "YM Magazine" A magazine for teenage girls. I wrote to them asking why I was getting there magazine. They said I subscribed to it from a door to door salesman selling subscriptions. Now some teenage girl on my street is probably getting MY Rail Magazine.

so take my advice!

DON'T BUY MAGAZINES FROM DOOR TO DOOR SALESMAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How embarassing! -_-;;;;[xx(][xx(][xx(][xx(][xx(][xx(][xx(]

I get my " Rail" magazine from the local Coles / Smiths' bookstore , seems to come pretty regularly , albeit about 2 weeks late , still it has to come from UK. Just asked them to bring it in for me and they did!
Trust you get it sorted out.

Some here, I have no patience for that kind of thing.

I used to wait and say "no thanks" but now I just shut the door or hang up the phone.

Look on the plus side here.... we could have a 13 year old girl becoming interested in trains. Till then Jim... you can find out who the new "teen hunk" is.

You know - I was thinking along the same lines, but you phrased it better than I could. Jim may not think it is funny, but I smiled several times over it!

Is the article," What to wear to catch the eye of that cute engineer on your first date" in this month's mag?

How about, "Does your pink nail polish really go with that new CSX paint scheme?"

I hear those teenage girls refuse to ride in the UP loco's because the yellow paint makes them look fat.
