I remember this being discussed on the IAIS yahoo group. Looking back thru the messages it closed last February. It seems the closing was mostly due to losing their biggest user, a nearby Maytag distribution center that was closed by Whirlpool after they bought them.
It also sounds like the ramp wasn't operated by the IAIS directly and there was friction between them and the operator.

Does anyone know if Iowa Interstate's Intermodal facility is still open at West Liberty, IA? It no longer appears on their webside. I was wondering if the recession may have caused it to close.
