File Under Ironic: Hobo Event Hosted by Railroad

An "educational" event that strikes me as abit more than ironic than bizarre
. It promotes the romantic view of what is, in reality, dangerous trespassing and of all things, it is hosted by a railroad. Truth is stranger than fiction.

Nothing is more fairly distributed than common sense: no one thinks he needs more of it than he already has.

Wonderful......that's what we need more glorifying the train hoppers....yes I realize that the "hobo" way of life is a piece of railroad history ...... like taggers are.....but ......we don't really need to give kids the idea to go hop on the train tracks......

so did they make realistic at least......

over here kids you can see some vagrants scoring some crack......and over at this exhibit, two "hobos" are rolling a internet yuppie train hopper, stealing his GPS and cell phone, and before they stab him they are going to.......[:0][xx(]

What on earth is this guy on, I thought the railraods wanted this culture to die out?

I love that, "Plus it's fun to ride the train"
Yeah, ok, enjoy your limbs while you still have them.

Its a unique and dying culture....and this is bad? Is it because people are dying? It's also fun to attend funerals and sit in the emergency room. ......

Is there an extra charge to ride on the trusses?

This whole idea just wasn't sitting quite right with me, and I just figured out why...

How are all these hobo's going to know that there is a convention on in the first place, it's not like they have phone numbers of e-mail?

Are the rail police handing out flyers upon arrest? [B)]
