Peach Creek Yard was (is?) C&O's major facility just outside Logan, West Virginia. Logan's on a branch that joins the C&O main line at Barboursville (just east of Huntington). I doubt that too much coal comes from up that line any more.

In the book,C&O Power, the name of peach creek yard comes up several times,I have tried several web sites that deal with the C&O,I have also tried the C&O and Chessie historical societies and still can't locate it.This information is needed for a modeling project on a friends layout Where was it located? on what division? If you know any thing about this "lost" yard please let me know.
