I am looking for a locomotive control stand. A GP9 or newer one that is not operable. I want it just for a display or perhaps a future project. Any Ideas?

Dan: The only place I know you might get a control stand for a GP-9 is at a scrap yard that scraps out locomotives or perhaps a locomotive rebuilder. It will not be easy to find one.One other place you may want to try is a short line that is useing a GP-9 for parts,they may sell you one if they don't need it or sell you one that been replace.Good luck!

you might have better luck getting the dimetions of one..and building a replica...

I'm thinking of building a facsimile control stand. I recently found a web site that has operator manuals for several types of locomotives that include pictures of cab controls that might be helpful as a guide. Its:
