NS Exhibit Car: what is it?
Posted by FJ and G on Wednesday, May 19, 2004 7:39 AM
Last 2 days riding in on VRE, saw it in Manassas yard, parked along with freight cars. Tuscan red; passenger car (actually looks like a baggage car) with words: "Exhibit Car"

Any clue?

This car travels the NS system for public relations.
Go to the NS web site( www.nscorp.com ) there is a desription of the car there and a list ot where it is going this year.

There is no such thing as a bad day of railfanning. So many trains, so little time.

It was pretty neat the last time i saw it, I'm not sure if they have made any changes. It had a locomtive simulator in it... although I don't think it was too realistic of a real loco.
