By the way I managed to spend a couple of hours at Hoffman Avenue yesterday, in spite of the fact that they don't allow parking on railroad property anymore. The new trick is to park on the grassy area just across the street. That land belongs to the City of St Paul, and as long as it isn't abused, it may be the way of the future for Twin Cities railfans who want to visit the best spot in town.

Trackside Guides are extremely expensive to produce -- illustrator and editor time on the maps alone can exceed 250 hours. No one works for free, so the guides appear as often as our budget allows.

I like the Trackside guides section. Why is there 3 or 4 months between issues? I look back and guess the last issue was 12/2003, I wonder if it has been discontinued?
