I believe, but am not positive, theat the "ACF Model 60' is a gas-electric car or "doodlebug", or possibly a gas-mechanical. In the late 1930's ACF made a "streamlined" self-propelled passenger car that was bought by at least the MP and NYS&W. Maybe C&EI bought one too.

i was looking through the book "chicago & eastern illinois railroad in color" and it states that they owned a locomotive called an ACF model 60 built in 1937. it gives no other info on these locos. do any of you know what this is, and if there are any pictures of one anywhere??
