I remember the New York subway used to have an terrible time with grafitti, what was it that they did to eraticate the problem?

The subways always look clean now, what happened? Or am I wrong?

Advertising wraps are an old practice on city buses and the Chicago Transit Authority has several sets of wrapped rapid transit cars running on the L. A higher advertising rate is charged for the wrapped cars and they do generate an additional amount of ad revenue.
The daily commute is part of everyday life but I get two rides a day out of it. Paul

caltrains being wrapped

In the trains news Caltrain is being wrapped, in other words COVERED IN GFAFFITTI !!!
I will support a graffitti vandal before wrap advertising, at least graffitti kids it's a kind of volanteer work. I wont buy a ticket if there is a remote chance I might ride in a wrap train, Caltrain, Amtrak or other, it resticts your view out the window (contrary to what they claim) and it is a real shame. Gas is going up but I will fill my tank at extra cost rather then take the train if its windows are covered like that.

I dont know what others think this but I wish wraps would go away. They loose my revenue and my politcal support!
