I live on the ex NKP line in Indiana which comes out of Bellevue and west thru Ft Wayne to Chicago.

Traffic is down quite a bit, but seems to be holding steady.  About 18 months ago the line was seeing about 32 trains daily.  That is down to about 22-24 daily.

traffic is good for bellevue. It will be better when NS gets done with the heartland corridor district. The museum is a great place to watch trains. You might want to go to trainorderpix.com and click on the bellevue page for a map.

Bellevue Ohio Traffic And A Few Questions
Posted by wrawroacx on Wednesday, July 15, 2009 1:56 PM

How's train traffic doing in Bellevue Ohio now days? Also, how busy is the line, that goes past the musuem from North to West or South to West from the NS line that goes North to South? Also, what is the name of this line that goes past the Museum? How busy is the line, that goes past east of the musuem from North to South, which I believe is the NS Sandusky Line? How busy is the Main Freight Yard in Bellevue to the Northeast of the Museum.
