Video From Caliente CA
Posted by spbed on Sunday, July 12, 2009 11:45 AM
This video was shot in May 2002. A WB UPRR manifest train has just descended the Tehachapi mountains & has stopped on the Caliente CA horseshoe curve for a crew change which normally would take place at Bakersfield CA about 30 miles further west from Caliente. At the same time a EB BNSF intermodal/reefer train is cooling it heels at the end of the double track waiting for the UPRR train to clear the single track so it can begin its ascent up the Tehachapi mountains.

For those who want to view ONLY this most current video I posted you can go directly to the video @ this link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uSvCA_9UHkc For those who wish to view any of my other videos or my still pix please go to http://www.myrailpix.com then the my train video link to view the most recent one I posted or any of my other videos or still pix that I have posted in the past.
