Railfanning Erie, PA area

I'm going to be in the Erie, PA area to do some railfanning. This is my first time visiting this area. are their any areas to be certain I see or to stay away from? could someone give me an idea as to where NS and CSX are side-by-side? What about the new track alignment w/ NS now next to CSX since the 19th st running is gone?
Where are passing sidings on NS and Control Points on CSX?
Thanks
John S.

A good spot for seeing alot of action, is a truckstop located at the last exit off of I90 before you enter New York. It is on the north side of I90. The CSX mainline runs right next to the parking lot. The NS line runs not far from there and can be visible. Further west, the two lines appear to be close enough in spots to be within a stones throw of each other.

Try out the following web site.
www.tourerie.com/history_museums.shtml
Look for: 1. Lakeshore Railway Museum
2. Museum of Erie GE History
Lakeshore is right along side the CSX & NS mainlines and has a nice collection of equipment. Haven't been to the GE museum but heard that it is worth the trip.

You will not see many passenger trains They only run late at night I think.
