Youre right a very low pitch sound. Might it be damaged?

I saw CSX ES44DC #5325 go through Perry Ohio 3/22/09 this past Sunday at 1:29PM. When I saw this guy go by he was going 55-60 MPH. When he was coming to the crossing I couldn't hear his horn till he was on the crossing. It sounded very low pitch. Here's a video I found of the same unit only in Depew NY. This is not my video someone else's. The engine is in the lead of the second train. You hear him toot. Can you tell what type of horn that is on 5325?
