Well that's what I thought was going on. Nice looking engines all sitting in a line. Going to make some short line very happy I suppose or go to MRL. We'll keep an eye on them.

well I don't know for sure, but rumor has it that, yes the 50's are gone as part of the acquisition of the 70M's. This is most unfortunate, as I kind'a like the 50's now that the "bugs" have mostly been worked out of 'em. Also supposedly going are most of the older GE's such as the C30-7, B30-7, C36-7 etc, to wich I say good ridance to them! Anyway there is also a rumor that UP is in negotiations w/EMD for 750 more SD70M's, but nothing is set yet that I know of.

Is UP getting rid of the SD-50's? There is a bunch at LRC's Richland operations with lines through the Union Pacific.
