Can anyone give me the details on the upcoming Franklin Park (IL) Railroad Daze (I know but that's how they seem to spell it). I'd like to go but don't know the details. Thanks in advance.

Don't know if they are still doing it. I was there Saturday and they used to have a banner across the street, but not this year. I believe End of Track Hobbies was the business who put it together but they are now closed.. Walked around and saw no posters for the event.
Too bad. I have gone there the last 4-5 years and saw a lot of neat equipment.
If anybody can add to the sad fate of RailDaze , I would appreciate hearing about it
Regards, Jerry

According to the Franklin Park web site, there will be a Railroad Daze on Friday, May 14 and Saturday, May 15 and there will be "train displays". In year's past, the equipment display were on Saturday.
Here is the web page -- http://www.villageoffranklinpark.com/events/rrdaze/
They list a phone number of 847.671.4800. I may call this week just to find out what is happening.

Rats -- unfortunately that is the same weekend as the NMRA Midwest Regional Convention in Milwaukee WI.
