In 1995,I rode the Ann Rutlege.Instead of using Amtrak,s normal route up the west side of the river, we almost immediatly crossed the river and went up the east side.
Ride Amtrak. Cats Rule, Dogs Drool.

How did the 1995 floods effect the Railroads
the reason I'm asking was I was little when it happened I remember riding amtrak's Ann Ruthlege to St. Louis then when we got into St. Louis the flood waters were like on the road and near the tracks I still have memories about a grian elevator flooded then it had railcars next to it then I know the river was closed. ALL help appricated
