First stop for you is the Norfolk and Western Historical Society website. Second stop is TLC Railroad Books, they printed a book last year on the history of the Southern/N&W/NS Steam Program named "Camelot of Steam". It's only $30 or $40.
Then there's the vast world of video's...Good Luck!

Is anyone interested in the N&W steam. AS in the 1218 and 611 mainly. I am 18 years old and love the N&W steam operation but have no clue where to find sites and photos. Id love to have photos of the excursion service that NS brought back in the 80's and 90's. If anyone could assist me let me know. Thanks a bunch
