The former moncton new brunswick shops of CN Rail were able to tottal
rebuild Diesle locomotives from the ground up.I was suprised how they took five
units envolved in a wreck in Quebec and tottaly rebuilt all five.to see them befor
was to say scrap metal but with in months they were on the road..

keep tracking safely

I'm new to model railroading and railfanning and I am wondering what maintance gets done at the diesel sheds I see in yards. Can all jobs be done there? Can a class 1 do all it's own maintance or does it contract out work?and lastly do they have a system(e.g. 1st line 2nd line etc)for priority work? Thanks Dallas
