Jim Spend as much time as you can with her.  Remember this we never know when we will lose a loved one.  I found out today that I more than likely will be losing both my parents in the next 2 years and just beacuse of that will be moving back to my home town so I can be closer to them.  My prayers are with you in your time of need.

Jim, the three most important things to remember are (1) be there, (2) be there and (3) be there. Moral support is so important in these cases. Your fiance has already gone through one ordeal just getting ready for the BM transplant, and now waiting for the transplant to take is another, and when that happens, then it is all just coming back up. Good luck and prayers to Saveria, her family and you.

Jim, you definitely have your priorities straight as trains will be there when your fiance recovers and she will be able to enjoy with you God willing.  We will all be out here pitching for her (and you)...God bless and best of luck.

Yes, Jim, be with your fiancee as much as possible--give her something to fight for.

Our best wishes to both of you--and I hope the news is good when you return.

I hate to say this, but I am giving up on railfanning for a couple months. Saveria is in the process of getting a bone marrow transplant, but 6 hours before the transplant last night, she started to go down hill. First she go pneumonia, then an infection in her lungs, then had a hard time breathing, then for a few brief moments, stopped breathing all together, for a long, long 5 minutes. Luckily, the hospital staff got her breathing again, then stabilized her with a breathing machine that is feeding her the oxygen she needs. She is going into surgery tommarow to remove the infection in her lungs.

However, they still did the transplant and it went smooth. Right now, as I am looking at her, she seems peacefull, however I hate seeing her tied up to all these machines and the machine doing her breathing for her.

So as of right now, until she is fully recovered, I am putting away the camera's, scanner, maps, photo's that I am putting away, Model trains I am working on, and the YouTube videos I am working on.

Please say a prayer for her, right now, she needs it

Thanks!

I know what your going through,I watched a wife die from colon cancer..I will pray for you and her family as well...God's speed
