Where have the MEC diesels gone?
Posted by Anonymous on Sunday, March 14, 2004 11:08 AM
Does anyone know of the whereabouts of any former Maine Central GE U25bs, U23bs, U18bs, or the EMD GP-38s ,or GP-40s. I have a diesel roster for up until the Guilford buyout, but what did Guilford do with those locos? We know they didn't sell them to pay thier back taxes in Waterville , ME($300K plus)

Here's a good springboard for ME RRs. I read somewhere that the U18s and 23s were scrapped.
