  I dont know what happens to anything when it goes into cyber space but we will try it again..I got a completely different # when I looked at it a few mins ago...

Still looks far, far better than any version of the heritage scheme.... even after some hard knocks - in my humble opinion.

BNSF 9801 is in remarkably good shape considering.  It will probably be out and running around in no time ... and in old green and cream paint too!

Hmm, the damage doesn't look as bad as I thought it would judging by the photos of the derailment. It will probably end up getting H3 paint, but other then that it just needs some minor body work and new handrails.

4801 was bought by CSX. Sounds like what CN did back in 04(?) when they destroyed 2 BNSF D9s in a head on collision down in Mississippi.

BNSF 9801, an executive cream and green SD70MAC, derailed in Colorado last month and looks like it needs a major paint overhaul too. 

 

And according to this, BNSF 4801, a C44-9W wrecked in 2006, is permanently off the roster and scrapped.
