VIA the RCMP and some Quebec Marketing companies are in a lot of trouble.

Paul Martin is really trying to clean up all of these government money burning scandles to look good for the next election.

The best part about all of this is that at the time that all of these scandles took place Paul Martiin was the MINISTER OF FINANCE..... what short memories some people have.

Well, I think it was probably a good thing that they fired him. Hopefully this whole thing will be able to be cleared up now that it's out in the open what the Liberals were doing. On the news yesterday they interviewed a public transport advocate who said that because of this that Via might not get all the funding they need because Pelletier was responsible for getting the government to put more money into Via. Mind you, that money probably went into Liberal-friendly ad agencies and other wasteful things and didn't help out our passenger trains at all! Hopefully now we'll see improvements in Via.

Good luck. If it happened down here it would just be fuel on the fire to cook Amtrak's goose.

Yeah, I was just reading about him sueing.

All of the money for the law suits, of course, will continue to come out of the Canadian tax payers pockets. Canadian also paid for all of the public enquiries into the scandles too.

Not only do we get screwed out of our money, but we get screwed out of our money to find out who screwed us out of our money.

I am begining to entertain the notion that the Canadian's politicians are even worse than ours. God spare us John Kerry and his ilk.

Wow, this thread Really hits close to home.

The man who just lives up the street from me, litterally, 20 minute walk, In St. Lazare, has fled the country, because he worked for Group Action and recieved a Death threat, telling him if he testified, he would be killed..

I though i lived in a good Neighborhood...
