Citico Jct and Debutts yard
Posted by K&ARailfan on Wednesday, May 21, 2008 12:26 PM

Hi everybody, I have a couple of quick questions. First, does anyone know a good place to sit and view the NS Debutts Yard in Chattanooga, TN? Second, does anyone know how busy Citico Junction is compared to the yard? According to a 2005 tonnage map I read, Citico has about 100 million tons of traffic a year going from the south to the east, and around 60 to 99 million tons going north to south, and around 60 to 99 million tons going from east to the north. Anybody know if it's worth sitting there on an access road along the southern leg of the wye? To look up the junction, type in Kings Point, TN on this site: http://maps.live.com/default.aspx?v=1&cp=34.176405|-84.803916&lvl=11

Thanks You very much!
