Just letting everyone know, the tests went well and the locomotive as returned to the North Vancouver Steam Shops to get the boiler clading installed. The engine will be shown outside waterfront station in early sept and is due to run a "by invitation only" trip to Calgary in mid sept.

CPR 2816 to run this week!

I just thought some of you might like to know that CPR 2816 will be doing trail runs on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (Aug 13-15th) this week! The runs will take place between Pitt Meadows and Mission during the afternoon. If you are going to go and watch please stay off the tracks and don't do anything foolish (CPR Police will be out in full force!)
