BNSF shifting power east?

yesterday, i saw 3 different eastbound groups of locomotives. one was just a power move with 12 locomotives just west of albuquerque. then, west of Winslow AZ i saw a stack train with at least 12, probibly 14 locomotives on it. then, last night, i saw another stack train west of needles CA with another 8 or 10 locomotives on it. and then there is the picture i got last week in my BNSF pictures post of another power move.

whats up with all this eastbound power? are they expecting more freight out that way, or did the locos pile up in the west?

BNSF just opened a new yd about 25 miles east of dallas the Alliance J.C.T. yd is a small holding or transfer yd with KCS
BNSF also run a lot of power on KCS trains
thru the midwest from Kansas City Mo to Shreveport La on their coal trains
and on their west coast to east coast double stack trains via NS
which KCS also trades power with
in my opinion
NS & BNSF inthe event of a merger would both get half of KCS hope that never happens

When I was in Joliet I saw a Intermodal Train with 8 Locomotives and about 10 to 15 cars

The other day here in Milwaukee, I saw a Canadian Pacific Train bound for Bensenville with a BNSF GE and a Conrail GE on the point? Perhaps BNSF has some time to work off on other lines?

Just today I saw two BNSF "super carrotts "at the point of a CSX train headed north out of Kayne Avenue yard towards the cumberland river drawbridge. The sun was out, I was close to my favorite vantage point on the Church Street over pass. My camera was back in the office in my breif case. I missed yet another great shot because I was not prepared.
