Phandle,

There used to be an old brick tower to the north of that yard that controlled an at-grade crossing. Is it still there? Spent a full day watching the action from behind Macdonald's.

I passed thru Baldwin, FL (intersection of US 301 & I-10) last week and found a large yard behind McDonald's (to the east) with mostly CSX power and some BNSF. To the north by US 90 a east-west double track crosses US 301 and both times had Union Pacific power. Just to the north-east on joint US 90-301, a double-track north-south line crosses with CSX power.
The CSX also appears to parallel US 301 south to Ocala, FL. Who owns each of these lines (can't believe e-w is UP)? and where do they oringinate?
