I got mine and brought it in from the mailbox. I put it somewhere and have yet to find it. I haven't got to read one word in it yet. I think the dog is hiding it from me. Yeah, that's it, the dog is hiding it from me. That's the ticket. [}:)] [;)]

I just e-mailed Kalmbach about not getting my copy--I purchased mine @ my LHS and it is a great issue. I blamed my mail carrier--I have not been getting a lot of my mail lately. I sure do miss my retired carrier!

Well like the paper said about 60% of the traffic is truck traffic. and a lot of guys I work with hate the light at 281 and 24.too many trucks running the red light on 24.

24 is kind of a dragstrip between here and Toledo I'll admit, And really is one of the most direct routes from Kansas City to the Detroit vicinity, I drove it this past summerr.

But has some SERIOUS bottlenecks in Quincy and Peoria IL..

If you are no fan of trucks Joe, I have a story you might like, on that same trip, I-70 was washed out near Vail CO, so, they detoured the entire I-70 up and over the Tennessee Pass, via US 24...It was beautiful, but the truckers were having a real bad time of it, And I was driving a heavily loaded rental truck, and pulling a trailer for the first time in my life. If I hadn't controlled my down hill speed, that trailer would have pushed me on my side in those hair-pin turns, so I played it safe, and still had my hands full...The Semi right behind me was unhappy at losing momentum in the up-n-down-n-up terrain, and started giving me horn blasts at times I just wasn't willing to go any faster, he got MEGA annoying- - so, on a good 7% uphill slope,..I simply stopped 1/10th mile up a good 2 mile rise, before proceeding up... Last I saw of that truck his cab was bouncing up-n-down under torque bounce like crazy,...didn't see him again......[banghead]

beautiful country though, well worth stopping to smell the daisy's

Just got my copy of the March TRAINS. Wow, are you all in for a treat!

I've had to register under a new name and password as my former username, pschmidt700, is inoperative today. (Hmm, wonder if it's subterfuge by those at the big K who don't like my comments about MR.)
