There will be further up-dates regarding connecting excursions and other features in the very near future( I'd guess in the next two weeks or so). You should go to the Trainfest2004.com site and post your questions directly to them.

I am definitely going to be at Trainfest 2004 (here is a clickable link: http://www.trainfest2004.com). Any idea when more details will be announced for the trains from Pittsburgh to Dennison?

I am pleased to be able to report that last weekends three day photographers steam charter(put together by Dave Goodheart) was an outstanding success!
#6325 ran flawlessly(thanks to the excellent work of steam CMO John Minassach,Jason Johnson and the steam crew), the trains ran on schedule, the food was great, and the weather was classically Dr. Chivago!
When I reported to the roundhouse for duty on Sunday morning the temp. was -6f and I thought no one is going to stand out in this and take pictures. Was I ever wrong!! With the exception of 5 or so,the rest of the 80 customers got off at every stop and did just that!
I used to hate those Canadian cabs when I was running the G-5s in the summer, but did it ever feel good in there this past weekend!!
I strongly recommend that all steam lovers make plans now to be at Trainfest2004 as I'm sure it will be THE steam event of the year. Check it out at Trainfest2004.com
Sure was nice to be on a railroad where the CEO is one of us and everyone there is dedicated to enjoying and celebrating our heritage! The perfect Anti-Dote for the Class-1's!!!
Hope to see you all at Trainfest2004! Ross Rowland
