Are there any good railfanning locations in downtown Jacksonville, FL? I see a lot of pictures taken of the FEC bridge over the St. Johns. Where are these pics taken from?

 Thanks

First, let me start by welcoming you to the group. You've come to the right place for railfanning tips and advice.

I'm in South Florida but I think I can offer some useful help.

Go to: http://finance.groups.yahoo.com/group/FECrailway/

I'm a group member there and have become acquainted with some of the guys at FEC as a result of my membership. Simply join and create a member profile. There, you can find the answers you're looking for regarding railfanning the FEC. I'm sure ECH (Dave), who is one of FEC's senior engineers at Bowden Yard in Jax will gladly tell you just where to go to maximize your enjoyment and train watching pleasure.

Cheers,
